‘Summertime Sadness’ hitmaker Lana Del Rey is engaged to singer Clayton Johnson, according to her fans.
The rumor first came up after the singer’s performance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon‘ on December 14. The fans of the 35-year-old star pointed to the ring on her left finger during her ‘Let Me Love You Like A Woman‘ performance in the show and they claimed that the singer engaged to Johnson. The said ring was first spotted in a Halloween photo of the couple, which sees them in Wizard of Oz costumes.
As Twitter was rocking by a great number of tweets regarding the potential engagement, US Weekly reported that an insider told them that the ‘Kiss Me in the Morning’ singer had popped the question. However, neither Lana nor Clayton has commented on the news.
Actually, the fans had also noticed the romance between Rey and Johnson before they confirmed the news, back in August. According to news obtained by People Magazine that the couple first met on a dating app.
The engagement news came almost 8 months after Del Rey announced she and reality star, Sean Larkin had split. As fans remember, the two started dating 2019 and ended their relationship in March 2020.
