Model and actor Emily Ratajkowski goes on receiving accolades as a new-generation author.
Emrata declared on December 16 that her essay, ‘Buying Myself Back – When does a model own her own image?‘ published by New York Magazine, has been marked as the magazine’s most-read story in 2020. To deliver the news, the model took to her verified Instagram account, shared a screenshot of an article announcing her achievement, and wrote alongside it:
“Wow. Wow! My essay, Buying Myself Back, is the most read story from New York Magazine in 2020 (across print and its six digital sites)!”
Then Ratajkowski, who recently told the world that her first book of essays titled ‘My Body’ is on the way, thanked all of her readers and expressed her satisfaction with the achievement:
Thank you to each and every one of you who read. I am honored and humbled and I have to say that this might just be the highlight of my year.”
Following the post, Ratajkowski’s industry friends flooded the comment section and left the following comments to congratulate her:
“EMILY FOR PRESIDENT 🙌🏽” said, Ashley Graham.
“Couldn’t be more proud to know ya!” added, Cara Santana.
“It was so good. Can’t wait for your book” wrote, Nikki Glaser.
As fans might remember, the model also announced through Vogue digital cover, in which she is seen cradling her baby bump, back in October that she is expecting her first child with her husband Sebastian Bear-McClard.
