Well-known singer, songwriter, and television judge turned back to her seat at ‘American Idol‘ after giving birth to her beloved daughter Daisy Dove Bloom back in August.
Perry, who stepped back from the stages and shows for a while following welcoming the baby with her actor fiance Orlando Bloom, released a couple of shots from her first ‘American Idol‘ night and showed off that she got rid of a great amount of weight. In addition to displaying her fit body in a dress with colorful diamonds, Perry also amazed her fans and followers with her brand new hairstyle.
The ‘Dark Horse’ singer, who previously cut hair and colored it blonde, met the audiences with long and dark hair like in the old days. Her new look reminded a great number of people of the style of her early career: Dark hair with bangs.
Alongside the photos she shared through her verified Instagram account, the 36-year-old singer also added the following note as a caption:
“We’re all about finding the diamonds in the rough. One gem from last season is getting polished up for tonights comeback episode of #AmericanIdol. Tune in at 8/7c.”
Instead of talking about the new episode of the show which has been running 18 seasons, the users of the platform pointed out the singer’s new style and wrote in the caption section that they really love the dark on her.
Apart from Instagram users, the other judges of the show, Lionel Richie and Paula Abdul jumped into the comments section to compliment her.
