Well-known comedian and television host Ellen DeGeneres took her verified social media account to speak out about the COVID-19 symptoms she has been experiencing since she was tested positive for the disease.
To share the updates regarding her medical condition, ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show‘ host uploaded a video of herself that sees her resting at her home. In the video, the comedian first thanked her fans and friends for their good wishes and informed them by saying that she is able to manage the disease. DeGeneres continued:
“Hi everybody, just saying thank you to all the well wishes out there. I appreciate it very much. I am feeling 100 percent. I feel really good.”
Then the star said that she is suffering from severe back pain, which could come out as a COVID-19 symptom even though it is not widely known.
“One thing they don’t tell you is you get, somehow, excruciating back pain.”
The 30-time Grammy Award winner, who seems a little bit tired in the video, then stated that she did not know the back pain was a symptom of the coronavirus disease by saying:
“Who knew? How come? Back pain. Bad.”
As fans remember, the 62-year-old host declared that she had been tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease, on December 10, by saying:
“Hi Everyone, I want to let you all know that I tested positive for Covid-19. Fortunately, I’m feeling fine right now. Anyone who has been in close contact with me has been notified, and I am following all proper CDC guidelines”
