One of the most known supermodels in America, Shanina Shaik shared a story, through Instagram, including her email to the Minneapolis Police Department to demand justice for George Floyd, who was murdered by a police officer.
Shaik took a screenshot of her email and shared it with her followers to urge them all to do the same thing.
She used the following statements:
“… I am emailing today to demand accountability for the racist murder of George Floyd.”
As a woman who has a diverse ethnic background and lives in the United States of America, Shaik added:
“I demand that charges be pressed against all officers involved in this heinous racist murder, including specifically Derek Chauvin and Tou Thao. They should not be allowed to keep their jobs and should be charged and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the for manslaughter.”
And she concluded her email with this touching message:
“George Floyd should be alive today if it was not for the gross abuse of power and white supremacy exhibited by the Minneapolis Police Department…”
