Canadian singer Shawn Mendes and his girlfriend Cuban-American singer Camila Cabello, took to the streets of downtown Miami, to demand justice after George Floyd’s death.
The couple wore their masks and walked with the crowd while holding their own cardboard signs that read “Black Lives Matter.”
Mendes and Cabello have been showing their support via social media posts since the day that the devastating case happened.
However, the pop star couple didn’t post any photos of themselves while protesting, through their social media channels. The photos that were published, were taken by the other protestors and the journalists.
One of the journalists, Miami Herald reporter Bianca Padró Ocasio shared a photo of Mendes and Cabello through Twitter and wrote:
“Wouldn’t be a Miami event without a few celebrities. Here are Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes in the crowd.”
