After getting numerous mean comments regarding her body, Lindsey Vonn gained her confidence back; she showed that with a series of stunning photos she shared through her verified Instagram account, on April 26.
As fans might remember, the former World Cup alpine ski racer Vonn became a target of body shamers a while ago; at that time she declared that she had received “ruthless comments” and that hurt her badly. Stating that she does not have to have a perfect-shaped body all the time as an athlete, Vonn slammed those haters by releasing a couple of bikini shots back in March.
Underneath the photos that show her rocking the beaches in her yellow tiny bikini, Vonn wrote the following message as a caption:
“You can judge me if you want, but I’ve been working hard in the gym and taking care of me…. so I’m going to post some bikini pics because I’m proud of myself.”
A month after, she took to her verified Instagram account to post other photos of herself in a bikini. On April 26, the United States Olympic Committee’s sportswoman of the year of 2010, shared a couple of photos from a private boat while enjoying along with a song. The 36-year-old, who looks perfect in a snake print bikini, added the following words:
“Smiling because I’m finally my authentic self 100% of the time. And happy to be surrounded by people who love me for who I am.”
Celebrating that she finally feels like herself, Vonn concluded her message as follows:
“Getting to this point has taken a long time but I’m here and I’m not going anywhere!“
As many fans might remember, a day before releasing these stunning shots, she posted a video of herself in the same look and same place while dancing and called out actor Kevin Hart, rapper Future and Drake by saying that she will show them how the ski challenge is really done.
