After a couple of Instagram posts announcing she has been going through tough days following the tragic passing of Ric Ocasek, well-known model Paulina Porizkova went to her verified Instagram account with a piece of good news this time.
On April 13, Porizkova took to her verified Instagram account, released the cover of Vogue for the April issue where she featured in a transparent bathing suit. Alongside the photo which she had to censor due to nudity and put two little swans on her breasts, the model wrote that she graced the cover of the fashion magazine after 40 years.
The Czech-born model shared the story of the cover with the following words:
“Exactly 40 years after my very first (German) Vogue cover at the age of sixteen, here is a new one. Full frontal nude, at 56, on Vogue CZ. I’d really like to thank the brave folks at Vogue CZ for daring to do this – but most of all the incredible team behind this photo shoot.”
After stating that it’s Marie Tomanova’s first Vogue cover, Porizkova stated that the cover and the photos inside the pages may annoy people who are not okay with “lack of coverup.” In her own words:
“I can’t wait to share the inside pages as well, this was one of the most fun and playful photos shoots I have done- possibly in my life.
For you peeps who have a problem with the lack of coverup- you can peruse the pages fully dressed.”
Following the post, a great number of users, including notable names in the celebs world jumped into the comments section in order to say the 56-year-old star looks gorgeous.
