Stunt performer and actor Bam Margera made an announcement that made a wave among his fans & followers.
On March 27, the media personality, best known for starring in MTV’s reality stunt show ‘Jackass‘ released a black and white TBT photo of himself and then added a message announcing that he decided to discontinue the medications he was taking to improve his mental health.
In his own words, he delivered the news as follows:
“Today I see a top notch doctor on manic bipolar. A 5 hour visit. My racing thoughts are the only issue. I’m off all medication since thanksgiving. ✨”
Margera concluded his words by referring to Harry Styles’ hit ‘Sign of the Times.’ However, his followers did not encounter the news happily as he had expected. They asked the actor, who has a history of alcohol for long years, whether he is determined regarding taking himself off the meds.
Actually, his fans’ reaction was quite fair; as known, Margera stated multiple times he has been struggling with some mental health issues, including anxiety and eating disorders in addition to alcohol abuse. The media personality, who said in an interview that he had been mostly sober since 2015, entered rehab plenty of times.
Back in February, the ‘Jackass’ star revealed that he had been fired from the shooting of the film, ‘Jackass 4‘ because of his addiction issues. At that time, Margera also claimed that Paramount Pictures forced him to take antidepressants to cope with his mental problems.
