NY Times best selling American author and the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Katherine Schwarzenegger updated her Instagram to share some never-before-seen shots from her mother’s photo album when she was 15 years old.
The 31-year-old successful author, known for her love for animals and for her help to all animals in need, always advocates for animal rescue. The wife of Chris Pratt’s love for animals started at an early age, and she remembered her early adulthood days and shared rare photos of her beloved horse Cinco with her followers and said:
“My mamas storage finds are my favorite ♥️ I think I was 15 here and I lived and breathed all things related to my horse Cinco, pictured here. I would go to school then straight to the barn, where I would stay until dinner time.”
Speaking briefly of her fondness for animals, the author explained that when she was young, every weekend she went first to her animals, regardless of the weather, and took care of them. She stated that at times she spent time just riding or taking care of her horse while trying to make her horse happy with the following words:
“Every weekend, rain or shine, I was either at the barn or at a show. It was a world separate from everything else, where I could just be with animals and do something I loved. I didn’t have my phone, didn’t think about anything else except riding and caring for my animal and being outdoors.”
The mother-of-one explained that one of the reasons why she loved horseback riding so much was that she felt free, and she also expressed that she was very grateful to be able to experience such a privilege while growing up and that she is also very happy to be able to introduce Cinco to her daughter Lyla:
“I felt free riding my horse and thrilled just sitting in wood chips in his stall. I feel so grateful to have been able to have that growing up. I’m so happy to have these pictures to remind me of those times and to be able to spend time with this beauty Cinco today and introduce him to my little girl. More of this kind of simple, tech-free, pure nature joy in 2021!”
