Well-known stand-up comedian and filmmaker Whitney Cummings took to Instagram the other day to share her experience regarding fostering a dog.
Sharing a photo of her dog, Magic Pony who had undergone hip replacement surgery a while ago, Cummings released a heartfelt message alongside it. The ‘2 Broke Girls‘ creator, who had adopted Pony for a limited time, first expressed that fostering a dog is so heartbreaking and exhausting that ages people, while it’s amazing at the same time. She continued:
“But it is so worth it to be able and say that Magic Pony is officially available for his forever home.”
The producer of ABC’s fan-favorite sitcom, ‘Roseanne,’ also thanked ‘The Flight Attendant’ star Kaley Cuoco, who announced recently that she had lost her beloved dog, for providing Magic Pony a hip replacement the needed. In her message, Cummings stated that he is ready to be a constant member of a family, and called out her fans and followers to give him love and joy while providing care at home.
“It’s been a long wild road for this guy but he is the most inspiring and resilient dude ever and there is a chance I will kidnap him after you adopt him just FYI. Please go to HitLivingFoundation.Org or DM them!”
The 38-year-old star added a “#adoptdontshop” hashtag to remind people that hundreds of pets are waiting for them at fostering homes.
Following the post, a great number of Instagram users flooded the comment section to thank the podcaster for using her platform in that way.
