The singer & songwriter Madonna, who has been referred to as the “Queen of Pop” took to her Instagram and posted a photo to Stories to encourage people to take an action for the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement.
As might be remembered, the ‘Like A Virgin’ singer had attended to the protests, on the crutches and showed her support for the movement, apart from sharing numerous messages to be solidarity with the Black community.
What’s more, she did not give up on and called out to people one more time to raise their voices upon racial inequality all around the U.S. The best-selling female music artist of all time addressed the ones who express they’re bored with the social equality issues and wrote:
“If you’re tired of listenning #blacklivesmatter…
You should take time to study empathy, human rights, social justice and humanity.”
With her real name, Madonna Louise Ciccone also stated that keeping silent means being a part of the racist acts and violence. She urged her followers to educate themselves regarding the issue, and fight against the discrimination.
The 61-year-old star concluded her words as follows:
“Silence also promotes violence!”
