Another concert tour has been rescheduled due to COVID-19.
The 15-time Grammy Award-winning Alicia Keys’ ‘ALICIA – The World Tour’ has been postponed to 2021.
The ‘You Don’t Know My Name’ singer announced new dates for her world tour, by posting a photo to her Instagram story. She wrote:
“My world tour will be rescheduled to 2021. Your ticket will be honored for the new date or if you can’t make it you’ll be able to request a refund. All ticket holders will be emailed.”
Alicia Keys also added the followings to express her excitement about upcoming shows:
“Sending you so much love and light. I can’t wait to rock with you soon in your city. Missing you and sending love.”
The rescheduled shows are planned to run with 52 concerts set in Europe and America.
Following the announcement, the tour plan was criticized, and a good number of people defended that this is not a world tour, because the concerts take place in just America and Europe. And the following question came to mind: When will the artists and producers recognize Africa and Asia as part of the world?
