American television personality, actress, and model Tyra Banks joins ‘Dancing with the Stars’ as a host and executive producer.
As might be remembered, on Monday, it was revealed that the longtime host Tom Bergeron, and the co-host Erin Andrews would not return to the dancing competition show. Following that, ABC and BBC Productions announced the new host.
Banks gave the news through her Instagram page and expressed her excitement regarding continuing the legacy as follows:
“Hey fam… so excited to be hosting and producing the new @dancingabc. There’s so much legacy. Can’t wait to bring the fierce, the fun and the SMIZE. 💛 @goodmorningamerica”
The model also stated that she has been a fan of the show since its beginning.
