Fashion guru and television personality Tan France, best known for his appearance in the Netflix show ‘Queer Eye‘ announced that he and his husband Rob France are expecting their first child.
On April 13, the British-Pakistani-American fashion designer released a photo of himself, where an ultrasound photo attached to his stomach, and delivered the exciting news with a message underneath the photo. France began his message by saying that he is so happy to finally share the news with the world, and continued as follows:
“We’re having a baby! No, I’m not pregnant, despite this very realistic pic.”
Following joking about his “maternal shot” France got a little bit emotional and he added that he feels lucky to welcome his first child with his lovely hubby this summer. In his own words:
“With the greatest gift/help of the most wonderful surrogate, Rob and I are lucky enough to be on our way to being parents, this Summer. Something we’ve wanted for so many years. Our hearts are so full right now. I cannot wait to hold this baby, and to show him so much love.”
Meanwhile, France’s husband of 14 years, Rob took to his verified Instagram account, released a baby illustration, and added the following message as a caption:
“We have a beautiful little angel on the way and I didn’t think it was humanly possible to feel like this.”
As soon as Tan shared the post announcing the joyful news, his industry friends jumped into the comments section to send their congratulatory messages. As one of these names, his ‘Queen Eye’ fellow Jonathan Van Ness left the following comment to celebrate the news:
“I’m so proud of you and Rob you are two of the sweetest most genuine people in the world & this is the most exciting news ever. On a separate note and to make it clear that I have 0 intentions of being less thirst for @tanfrance.”
Apart from Van Ness, Sophie Turner, Bobby Berk, Antoni Porowski and Karamo were quick to express their excitement regarding the newest member of the family.
