The well-known singer-songwriter, actor and television judge Ne-Yo released an adorable message for his wife Crytal Smith, on her 34th birthday. Ne-Yo, born Shaffer Chimere Smith, included a variety of pictures and videos of wife, and wrote a lengthy caption that read:
“A sex symbol, a firecracker, a vixen, yes of course. On the outside looking in these are a few things one might catch right away. Nothing wrong with that. But no book is it’s cover alone. And anyone willing to take the time to flip thru the lovely pages will find, a passionate mother, a loving and dedicated wife, a damn goofball😜, a down ass homegirl, a generous sister, a partner in crime, a best friend, a person that’ll split heaven and earth behind those she loves.”
The singer addressed Crystal whom he describes as a multi-layered rose with overlapping petals, and thanked God to have not allowed him to lose his wife. As might remember, earlier this year, Ne-Yo declared on the ‘Private Talk Podcast’ that he and his wife had filed for divorce. However, in the lockdown period, they decided to continue their marriage.
The ‘Miss Independent’ singer added:
“I thank you for your patience and grace under fire. I thank you for loving the jumbled mess of emotions and pride that I can be. I know it ain’t always easy. Above all else, my life is BETTER with the addition of you and non-existent without.”
Then the 40-year-old implied that they would not divorce with the followings words:
“I LOVE YOU MRS. SMITH (@itscrystalsmith) Looking forward to many blissful years to come. Nothing we could ever go thru is stronger than US❤️ HAPPY BDAY. #34CouldNeva”
The couple were married on February 20, 2016, and they welcomed two sons together.
