Michelle Pfeiffer Releases A Heartfelt Tribute To Her Late Co-Star, David Bowie On His 75th Birthday

Golden Globe Award-winning actor Michelle Pfeiffer took to her Instagram account to remember Rock n Roll legend, David Bowie, on what would have been his 75th birthday. By releasing a snap from the 1985 dated black comedy thriller film ‘Into the Night,’ in which Bowie is seen putting a knife to Pfeiffer’s throat, she recalled the day she had first encountered him.

Alongside the black and white photo that sees Bowie with a mustache, Academy Award-nominated Hollywood star wrote:

“Happy Birthday, David Bowie. I actually stood on a balcony and smoked cigarettes with David effing Bowie at 2 AM 🤯”

Then Pfeiffer clarified the photo and stated that it had been a highly stressful thing to be around one of the best-selling music artists of all time during filming. In her own words:

“Ok – we were shooting Into The Night and I was too nervous to even speak around him, but still, it doesn’t get any cooler than that. #RIP. ❤️”

Following the post, a great number of Instagram users jumped into the comment section to remember Bowie, who passed away in 2016 due to liver cancer, with kind words. As for Pfeiffer’s industry friends left the following comments:

“I agree except you are equally cool 😎⭐️” wrote, well-known actor Ellen Pompeo

“David Bowie Brixton Boy Forever ♥️♥️♥️🙏🏾” said, fashion icon Naomi Campbell.

“🙌🙌🙌 #rip💫💫💫💫” added, another Hollywood actor Naomi Watts

As known, in ‘Into the Night,’ directed by John Landis, while the ‘Scarface‘ actor portraying ‘Diana,’ the five-time Grammy Award winner played ‘Colin Morris.’ After its release, Bowie was praised by a good number of critics for “making an excellent contribution as an English hitman.”
