JoJo Siwa, dancer, and singer who came to prominence after appearing for two seasons on Dance Moms along with her mother, expressed how much she happy to be loved for who she is.
Siwa took to her verified Instagram account on June 30 so as to celebrate Pride Month one more time; she first released a video of herself performing her hit ‘Boomerang’ in front of a huge LGBTQ+ flag with her dance crew. Then she included another video plus a photo with her girlfriend, and added a message that reads:
“One last time… Happy Pride Month! This has been the best first pride month ever! I’ve never been so happy in my life. Being happy, in love, and celebrated is the best thing is the world.”
Siwa, who came out as being part of the LGBTQ+ community back in January through her social media channels by saying that it is impossible for her to label her sexuality, continued as follows:
“Thank you to everyone for the unreal amount of support and love that you’ve shown me since I shared this side of my life with the world. It’s almost been 6 months now and I can 1,000,000% say I’ve never had a better 6 months before.”
Abby Lee, Siwa’s dance choreographer in the reality show, jumped into the comments section and released the following message:
“Oh come on that first month on TV on Abby’s Ultimate Dance Comp? Lol! Just teasing sweetie! I’m always proud of you – doesn’t matter what month it is!”
In addition to Abby Lee, the official Instagram page for Nickelodeon sent supportive messages.
