Singer and actress Jessica Simpson honored sister Ashlee Simpson with a sweet tribute and expressed her excitement about becoming an aunt of three children. The older sister posted a photo of herself with Ashlee, who is pregnant with her third child, which sees them wearing 70s style waist-long dresses in a backyard.
Alongside the photo, the ‘With You’ singer called her sister “soulmate” and wrote a caption that reads:
“Celebrating new life with my soulmate, best friend, role model, baby sis @ashleesimpsonross. This lady right here is someone we should all aspire to be…determined, hilarious, artistic, loving, soulful, wise, loyal, and a champion of motherhood!!!”
The 40-year-old singer continued:
“I keep telling her that I looked like this 2 months pregnant 😂 When she needs a good laugh I send her pics of my 3rd pregnancy journey! I love you and I can’t wait to be an auntie of 3!”
As for Ashlee Simpson, who announced in April that she and Jagger Snow were expecting their second child together, shared the same photo plus a few more taken during the family meeting and wrote the followings as a caption:
“I’m so grateful to be with my family as we get ready for my baby boy! Not long now!”
