Jeffree Star, one of the most recognized make-up moguls, jumped into his social media accounts to update about what he is up to after the car crash he had with his fellow Daniel Lucas.

As known, the well-known YouTuber and Lucas were injured in a rollover crash in Wyoming back on April 16; at that time, Star declared through his verified Twitter account that he experienced “the most excruciating pain ever” after the crash.

Almost 3 weeks after the “horrible car accident,” Star, who was accused of faking about the accident, took to his Twitter account and released a long thread to inform his fans and followers regarding his medical condition. He first wrote that he and Lucas have been slowly healing and their bodies are recovering, he added:

“My back was partially broken and one of my vertebrae is completely crushed, so I am in a back brace for another five weeks… If I heal correctly, I will not need surgery. As I’ve had a lot of downtimes to reflect, I just want to remind everyone how precious life is and we never know what can happen when you wake up in the morning.”

In his tweet, Star also stated that some people he knows think it extreme that he lives every minute like it is his last. The founder and owner of Jeffree Star Cosmetics continued his words by describing this accident as a “reminder” and added that he is grateful for every second that he has on this world. He also mentioned his upcoming plans:

Soon I will be making some major changes to my life and there’s been a lot I’ve been holding back this year… The next chapter of my life feels so powerful and I’m so ready for what’s next for me, my family, and my businesses!”

He concluded his words by showing gratitude to his friends and fans for “continuous love and support.”
