Brazilian model, actress, and businesswoman Gisele Bündchen celebrated turning 40, with her fraternal twin, Patrícia by sharing childhood photos of the pair growing up together.
The supermodel, who was a Victoria’s Secret Angel, called her twin sister as “best friend” and wrote the following note along with the adorable throwback shots:
“Today Pati and I get to celebrate four decades of being alive on this amazing planet! How lucky I was to be born with my twin and best friend!”
A year before, the model had shared another post for her sister, and described her as “other half.” Then, Bündchen expressed how much she is satisfied with she has in present, showed her gratitude as follows:
“I am so grateful for all the people who have been a part of my journey. My husband, my family (especially my loving children!), my friends and so many others who I never got to meet but who have supported me through all these years. I’m grateful for every experience that has helped shape who I am today.”
The 40-year-old supermodel, who appeared on more than 1,200 magazine covers throughout her modeling career, concluded her message with an adorable note. She wrote:
“My heart is so full! I am looking forward to this new chapter of my life, where I get to use the tools I’ve acquired these past 40 years in service of helping make this world a better place. Life is truly the biggest gift!!! ❤️”
