Dwayne Johnson took to his verified Instagram account to remind his fans and followers the WWE days; on May 22, The Rock, released a short video showing his fight with Paul “Triple H” Levesque and revealed that his wrestling career taught him so much in the way of becoming one of the highest-paid actors worldwide.
In order to get candid about the issue, Johnson, who is gearing up to appear as ‘Black Adam‘ in the upcoming DC universe film of the same name, first uploaded the abovementioned video, in which he is seen breaking a table with his body after taking a hit from Levesque. Then the actor wrote the following message in the caption section:
“Long before becoming the business man I am today ~ I cut my teeth and made my bones in another kind of business. The business of throwing around 300lb men for a living or getting my ass kicked, my bell rung and concussed thru tables. As wild as this looks (and at times very painful) I look back at very specific invaluable business lessons I took with me from this fanatical industry.”
Stating that he taught many things while working for “this fanatical industry,” The Rock described this clip as a grateful memory. He continued:
“This nightly hardcore nature forced me to become savvy. Forced me to always listen. Ears open, mouth shut. Always taking care of my number #1 boss, the audience. The people. This was a very special time in pro wrestling. and I’ll be proud of my roots.”
The Rock then gave a shout to his “violent friend” Triple H and challenged him with the following words:
“The Rock will deliver payback hell to Triple H. And all the people will go home happy!”
We might witness a show after years!
