Well-known TV host and cookbook author Chrissy Teigen, who recently dominated the media with the news regarding that she is the only celebrity who was followed by Joe Biden’s official Twitter account after Donald Trump had blocked her, took to Instagram on January 21 to praise living legend Tom Hanks.
Teigen, who attended the inauguration celebration with her husband John Legend and their two children, posted a photo of herself in a luxury caravan and added a caption saying that the Hollywood star, who hosted the “Celebrating America” special on the day of the inauguration of Joe Biden and Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris, is a kind and professional man who deserves all the respects he has been receiving. In her own words:
“Listening to Tom Hanks rehearse on a hot mic makes you understand why he is such a respected and loved working icon in this industry.”
Teigen continued praising Hanks, who presented the 90-minute broadcast, with the following words:
“I was waiting for just one ‘f**k hurry up it’s f**king cold’ but no. Nothing. Just kindness and professionalism. What a man.”
As known, the ‘Saving Private Ryan‘ actor hosted the performances of Foo Fighters, Katy Perry, Demi Lovato and Bon Jovi on January 20, and received high praises for his hosting skills. During the special, Hanks told the viewers:
“Tonight we ponder the United States of America, the practice of our democracy, the foundations of our republic, the integrity of our Constitution, the hopes and dreams we all share for a more perfect union.”
