Academy Award-winning actor Charlize Theron revealed what she has been longing for from the beginning of the lockdown period. Like the rest of the world, Theron had to stay away from what she loves because of the coronavirus pandemic; on March 12, she went to Instagram with a shot captured during The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project‘s Program Partners campaign and stated in the caption section:
“You know what I freaking miss? PEOPLE. Trust me, I love a good day to myself watching Real Housewives in my bed. But after a year of seeing barely anyone face-to-face, I am OVER it.”
Saying that she misses the energy of occupying the same physical space as people she loves, the 45-year-old expressed that she has been longing for the excitement of traveling to see those people. In her message, the ‘Bombshell‘ star stated that all of these feelings can’t be duplicated over Zoom. South African star continued:
“It’s now been a full year in COVID-land, and it’s been over 2 years since I was last home in South Africa. This is the longest I’ve ever been away. I miss seeing @CTAOP’s Program Partners in action, and I miss bonding with the incredible young people they serve.”
Then Theron embraced a positive attitude regarding the future; the star stated that the power to end the coronavirus pandemic faster is in our hands and pointed out the COVID-19 vaccine.
The founder of The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, wrote that “75% of the vaccines delivered globally have gone to just 10 countries” and expressed that people in South Africa do not have access to the vaccine. She continued:
“And that’s why I’m proud to support the @unitednations global vaccination effort to help ensure everyone is protected from COVID-19.”
Theron concluded her words by saying that it is the only way to end the pandemic is to help each other. Head this way to view the mentioned Instagram post.
