Billy Ray Cyrus Says His “Mind Was Just Blown” After Getting The News That ‘Old Town Road’ Became US’ Most-Streamed Song of All Time

One of the most recognized country star Billy Ray Cyrus became sociable through his verified Twitter account on April 5, almost a week after the good news delivered officially.

As fans might know, on March 26, Chart Data announced that Cyrus’ and Lil Nas X‘ song ‘Old Town Road  became the most-streamed song in the United States via its official Twitter account. What’s more, the song also went 14 times platinum back in January.

In order to celebrate the exciting news, Cyrus released a photo of himself with the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) Platinum Award, plus Spotify plate for 1B stream and various music & video awards from notable organizations.

As known, with ‘Old Town Road,’ Cyrus and X received  Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Music Video at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards, Favorite Song — Rap/Hip-Hop award at American Music Awards, and the Music & Sound Recordings Award from SAG-AFTRA. The duo also honored by BET, Country Music Association, and MTV.

Alongside the photo, the ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ hitmaker wrote the following message:

Well my mind was just blown… this would not have happened without you the FANS Most Certified Song In Recorded Music History #OTR #RIAA”

According to Chart Data, the song, released by Columbia Records in March 2019, reached 2.9 billion on-demand streams.
