Gabrielle Union Supports Young Activists Who Raise Awareness All Around The Country

In addition to her successful career in Hollywood as an actress, women’s health activist,  Gabrielle Union shared an Instagram post to support young activists who raise awareness in many aspects, on June 3.

10 Things I Hate About You’ star Gabrielle Union uploaded little activist Amariyanna “Mari” Copeny’s video and captioned this as follows:

“Amariyanna “Mari” Copeny also known as Little Miss Flint, is a youth activist from Flint, Michigan. She is raising awareness about Flint’s ongoing water crisis and fundraising to support underprivileged children in her community and across the country.”

The 47-year-old actress, who also has a bachelor’s degree in sociology, explained why important that supporting “young freedom fighters” is, and encourage her followers to give a boost to activists:

“As our babies are leading, we must support them. Our young freedom fighters can face isolation, smear campaigns, and retaliation. Protect them, support them, love them and amplify their voices and work.”

Her followers did not leave this request unrequited and commented as follows:

“We can support this incredible, powerful little soul please tell us how. We need future leaders like her. I say future, but she’s already leading” said, Petite Pangolin nicknamed follower.

“This makes my heart leap! Way to go! I am so proud of her! I got started in activism around her age! Who knows she could be our future President! I applaud her and the other kids that do great things in this 🌎!” added, Mary Straka.
