Miley Cyrus, one of the dominant figures in the music industry, went to her verified Instagram account with great news; on June 22, the well-known singer, songwriter, and actor, became sociable and shared with her millions of followers that her Pride concert special ‘Miley Pride Special‘ has been set to release through Peacock TV.
When the news was delivered by the official Instagram page for Peacock TV alongside the official teaser for the show, also Cyrus took to her official account to release a message celebrating the news.
Regarding the concert special she performed so as to celebrate Pride Month, Cyrus, the out-and-proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, stated:
“This feels like a peaceful protest. There are laws endangering the lgbtq+ community all around the country and even here in my home state – We can’t stop and we won’t stop doing everything in our power to create the changes we want to see not just here but around the world!”
As fans might know, during her mini-concert she performed her hits including ‘The Climb,’ ‘Party in the USA,’ and covers ‘Believe,’ ‘Like a Prayer,’ ‘True Colors,’ and ‘Dancing Queen.’ After sharing a short video from her performance, the ‘Plastic Heart’ hitmaker delivered the exciting news with these words:
“You’ve gotta start somewhere! So I’ve begun in Nashville, TN @theryman for my #mileypridespecial special coming to @peacocktv June 25th!”
On Instagram, Cyrus’ fans went crazy; it seems the special will be watched millions of times.
