America Ferrera, the recipient of numerous acting awards including Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award, jumped into her verified Instagram account the other day so as to mark a milestone; she celebrated the 16th release anniversary of the fan-favorite film ‘The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.’
On June 11, Ferrare, who gained international fame after starring as ‘Betty Suarez‘ in the fan-favorite series ‘Ugly Betty,’ shared a TBT photo seeing her co-stars Amber Tamblyn, Blake Lively, and Alexis Bledel, as part of her “FlashbackFriday.” Alongside the photo, captured almost 16 years ago, Ferrera added the following message in order to mark the day:
“16 years ago, 4 girls shared the pants and some questionable fashion choices. Why am I orange? Where is Amber’s crimp & curl now? Was anyone’s hair color natural? 2000’s, you were messy but magical. Happy 16 years of #sisterhoodofthetravelingpants.”
Ferrare, who portrayed ‘Carmen Lowell‘ in the said series based on the novel of the same name by Ann Brashares, concluded her words by expressing her love for her co-stars Tamblyn, Bledel, and Lively by adding their accounts on the post.
As soon as the star released the post, Tamblyn jumped into the comment section and left the following message:
“My forever-loves. I wouldn’t change a damn thing.”
As known, ‘The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants’ was released on June 1, 2005; after it met positively, its sequel premiered back on August 6, 2008.
