On Mother’s Day, ‘Glee‘ star Matthew Morrison‘s wife took to her verified Instagram account; released a photo of herself showing her baby bump, and added a touching message celebrating her second pregnancy.
As fans might remember, the Morrison family revealed a few weeks ago that they are expecting their second child, after a highly tough period in which they experienced multiple miscarriages. Following announcing the exciting news, Renee Morrison, best known for her modelling and acting career in her home country Hawaii, started taking her social media to account to update her fans and followers regarding her maternal experience.
Underneath the photo in which she is seen wearing a crop top exposing her baby bump, Morrison wrote that motherhood changed her life in many ways. Stating that being a mother brought her to her knees, she continued as follows:
“First and foremost, I am on my knees in the purest of gratitude. It is the most precious, awe inspiring, radically expansive, devoted, whole hearted, loving positions I’ve ever held in my life. It brings me to my knees in the ways it challenges me more than anything or anyone has challenged me before.”
She went on saying with the help of metaphors; according to what she stated in her message, motherhood also gave her wings “to soar.” In her words:
“Everything I do, say, think, pray, value, dream, create is influencing a brand new human. With the world completely in front of him/her. Nothing but time. To be one with, present in, and respectful of. To not take time for granted. To honor and bask in it.”
Describing motherhood as “the fuc*ing greatest honor” Reene, concluded her message with these words:
“Motherhood has put every lesson, every tear, every abuse endured, every life shift into such perspective it has catalyzed an alchemy within. So genuine it leaves me accepting nothing BUT. Demanding a new quality of life for myself so that my children will only know to demand quality for themselves.”
