Well-known actor, Tv personality, and activist Jonathan Van Ness went to his verified Instagram account with highly cheerful news; on May 3, the TV star, best known for his appearance in the fan-favorite Netflix show ‘Queer Eye‘ declared that his hubby, Mark Peacock‘s Green Card application was approved finally.
In order to deliver and celebrate the news at the same time, the 34-year-old star, who has been marked as one of the most recognized LGBTQ+ activists all around the world, posted a photo of himself with Peacock, in front of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. Alongside the photo, in which the couple is seen quite happy while hugging each other, Van Ness wrote the following message as a caption, on Instagram:
“Yay, he’s staying Mark London. Today as a queer person who wouldn’t have been able to marry the person they love just 6 years ago, our rights can’t be taken for granted! So happy to have this process in our rearview. Green Card yas!”
After celebrating his British-based husband’s Green Card approval, the TV star received numerous congratulation messages from his fans, followers, and friends. As one of them, his ‘Queer Eye’ co-star Tan France, who recently announced that he was expecting his first child with his husband Rob France back in April, through his verified Instagram account, jumped into the comments section to celebrate the news. He wrote:
“Yay! Such wonderful news that he now has a green card!” wrote, Tan France.”
As fans might remember, Van Ness heralded back in December that he had married his longtime partner, Peacock.
