Singer Noah Cyrus, who received a nomination for Best New Artist at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards, went to her verified Instagram account with a piece of great news; The youngest sibling of Miley Cyrus revealed that she has dropped her brand new EP called ‘People Don’t Change‘ featuring Australian singer-songwriter PJ Harding.
On April 23, the 21-year-old star, who has been under the spotlight since she launched Labrinth collaboration ‘Make Me Cry,’ took to her verified Instagram account and told the story of the EP while heralding its release. The youngest daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus stated in her post that the EP started with PJ Harling on a Zoom and continued as follows:
“We had the intention of creating a project, but I had no idea that I’d write my favorite collection of songs I’d ever written in my entire life.”
The young star, who teamed up with the Australian singer for the first time, showed her gratitude for him for not “only being the most amazing co-writer but big brother, best friend, producer, therapist and confidant.” Cyrus added that the EP would not be possible without Harling and his endless dedication to this project and their friendship.
Cyrus continued her message by telling of the hardships she went through in recent years:
“I had my heart broken in so many ways this past year. losing my grandmother being the hardest one and this EP was there for me every step of the way. You were there for me. I’ve never been able to confide in someone like I do you. to be able to turn our individual pain, hope, and fears into something beautiful has been one of my favorite accomplishments I’ve made as a musician this far in my career.”
Following kind words dedicated to the singer and the friendship between two, the young star announced one more time that ‘People Don’t Change’ which has been written, recorded, mixed, and mastered by them, is out in the whole wide world. After describing the EP as her “dream collab” she concluded her words by saying that it is an honor to have her name next to PJ Harding‘s.
