Legendary singer Elton John announced a piece of great news for both his fans and Dua Lipa‘s!
On April 8, the ‘Rocket Man‘ hitmaker jumped into his verified social media account to declare that he and the ‘Future Nostalgia‘ singer have finally met, what’s more, they rehearsed for the first time for their “exclusive duet performance” on EJAF Oscars.
On Twitter, alongside a selfie taken by Dua Lipa with John, the multiple-time Grammy Award-winning musician wrote the following message:
“Rehearsals done! 🚀 I’m so happy to have finally met the incredibly talented @dualipa today for our #EJAFOscars rehearsal. We’ll be doing an exclusive duet performance on April 25.”
John also heralded that, this year, for the very first time, their fans could be part of the EJAF Oscar Party for just £14.99/$19.99; the money raised from this year’s party will go to support more than 1,5K people suffering from HIV.
Meanwhile, Lupa took to her verified Twitter account and released the same shot; in addition to the selfie showing the stars are very happy to getting together for the show, the 26-year-old star added the following note:
“Look who I finally met today in rehearsals!!! I’m so excited and honored to be performing at #EJAFOscars on 25th April with @eltonofficial in support of the amazing work that @ejaf is doing to help young people all over the world who are living with or at risk of HIV.”
