On World Autism Awareness Day, well-known rapper and music executive Fat Joe took to his verified Instagram account and touched the hearts of his followers with the post devoted to his eldest child, Joey Cartagena.
On April 2, the rapper, born Joseph Antonio Cartagena, released a photo of himself with Joey and expressed his love for his son who had been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) when he was a little child.
Alongside the photo, in which he is seen hugging Joey from back, the ‘What’s Luv‘ rapper first introduced his son to his fans and followers on social media by saying that:
“My guy lil Joey he’s my heart and my eldest child.”
Then the rapper, who is saying that he is a proud father at every turn, referred to the World Autism Awareness Day; while sending his love for families, expressed his admiration for Joey with the following words:
“All my blessings come from JOE it’s Autism awareness day mad love and respect to families who have autistic family members. It may be really tough but their ours and we’re proud of them and love them even more 🙏🏽💙”
As fans might know, Joe welcomed his first child in December of 1992; then the rapper broke up with Joey’s mother and married his present wife Lorena Cartagena in 1996. The couple had two children together; Ryan Cartagena and Azaria Cartagena. Each year, the father-of-three does not skip marking the World Autism Awareness Day.
