Masika Kalysha, the well-known reality television personality, singer & songwriter, went to Instagram in order to mourn the death of Lyric Chanel, who passed away due to brain cancer and anaplastic ependymoma she had been battling with for almost 2 years.
The ‘Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood‘ star posted a photo of Chanel and expressed her sorrow regarding the death of the 13-year-old girl. Alongside the photo, Kalysha wrote:
“It’s 3:00am in LA. Losing sleep over you baby girl. No more pain Angel. Thank you for your strength thank you for your courage. I’ve never seen a fighter so strong. I only wish I could be so brave.”
The TV star, born Masika Kalysha Tucker, stated that Chanel impacted her love so much; and added:
“I love you as if you were my own daughter. I can’t imagine the pain your family must be going through. But you taught them how to be strong. How could you be so brave at such a young age? Look at all the lives you’ve impacted.”
Describing Chanel as the “13-year-old legend,” Kalysha, who is also appeared in the TV show ‘Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta,’ concluded her message as follows:
“Thank you sweetheart for sharing your journey with us. Rest well, fly high no more pain ever again. My prayers are with your family.”
