This time Paulina Porizkova uploaded a tearful selfie to open up about her tough days.
The Czech supermodel, who is familiar with sharing posts about her inner self and the struggles she is trying to cope with, took to her verified Instagram account on March 4 and released a photo of herself in tears and implied that she is not still taking on a new lease of life after her husband Ric Ocasek passed away.
The 55-year-old supermodel got candid about her ongoing grief with these words she added in the caption section:
“One tries so hard to be grateful and positive and look ahead and all- but sometimes you just have a day like this. I know I’m still shedding my old skin and it still hurts.”
Then Porizkova, who previously declared that she is battling severe depression following the death of her husband, continued her message as follows:
“And in the middle of this pain- I flash on what I look like when I cry and take a photo! Talk about narcissism! 🤣But being able to step back from your pain, even for a moment, and be objective about it – is a helpful distraction.”
In the last part of her message, Porizkova stated that she would go on her fight against the bad thoughts and feelings.

As fans already know, the husband of the mega model was found dead on September 15, 2019, at his New York City townhouse; at that time, the couple had been experiencing tough times in their marriage. According to the official reports, Ocasek, who had been suffering from hypertensive heart and coronary artery disease passed from natural causes.
