Actress Michelle Trachtenberg, who is best known for her characters in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Gossip Girl, opened up about Hollywood’s true face behind its glamorous look, revealing her feelings on her Instagram account.
The famous actress, who had made statements like this before, frequently shares her thoughts about the people who disturb her on Instagram, but this time her message was to Hollywood and she told her followers that sometimes nothing is as it seems.
Trachtenberg shared a positive motto that was ‘Actually I can’ written on it and stated that she worked hard to get herself out of the established stereotypes of Hollywood and to prove her ability to be a writer as follows:
“Who needs to hear this today? I did. Everyone thinks ‘Hollywood’ is so glamorous. The fact is there is a lot of rejection and a lot of bullies,” she wrote pointing the hardships behind the scenes.
The actress revealed her experience as a script-writer and said that after getting rejections, an agent was surprised with Trachtenberg’s writing ability. The actress described it as follows:
“A lot of putting the person in the box they’ve been put in. A lot of hope you can get that job because you worked so hard for it. The first time I sold a script that I wrote. The agent said ‘Wow. You can actually write’ So yes. Actually. I can. ⚡️”
