Television personality and author Chrissy Teigen took to her Instagram on December 23 to share an update regarding her physical recovery three months after she had lost her baby Jack due to pregnancy complications.
Teigen posted a mirror selfie that sees her bump and asked why she still has it despite no pregnancy at all:
“This is me and my body, just yesterday. Even though I’m no longer pregnant, every glance in the mirror reminds me of what could have been. And I have no idea why I still have this bump, honestly.”
Teigen described it as “frustrating” even though she is proud of “where this entire journey took my body and mind in other ways.” Then the mother of two said that she was completely devastated because she would not conceive again:
“I love being pregnant, so so much, and I’m sad I never will be again.”
The star, who tries to keep her positive attitude over the recent happenings, concluded her message by saying that she is lucky to have “two amazing little ones who are transforming into big little people” each day, by referring to her two children she shares with well-known singer husband John Legend.
As for her fans and followers thanked her for being that honest, so much so that, a great number of Instagram users took to the comment section to say that Teigen inspires many people with her story. Apart from them, notable names also left comments to support Teigen, and they mentioned her own stories.
“I have gone through this It’s not a moment and gone It’s a passage,” wrote, Hollywood star Sharon Stone.
“Your body is the site of a miracle. The many forms it can take humbly remind us that all things are possible. You look beautiful Chrissy. 💜” added, Melanie Fiona.
However, it is still unknown why Teigen says she can’t be pregnant again.
