Rapper, record producer & executive P. Diddy, born Sean Combs, took to Instagram on December 22 to celebrate the birthdays of three people, who are important in his life.
Three-time Grammy Award-winning artist first posted a photo of his twin daughters, Jessie James and D’Lila Star, and marked their 14th birthday by writing:
“Happy Birthday to Jessie and D’Lila! Wow!! Time is flying and I’m enjoying every second of it. I thank God for blessing me with such humble, kind, sweet, amazing girls.”
Then the rapper referred to the twins’ mother, Kimberly Porter, who passed away from pneumonia on November 15, 2018:
“Kim is definitely smiling down on you two beautiful girls. I love you both so so much! Happy 14th Birthday.”
On the same day, Diddy went to his verified Instagram account one more time to honor his mother, model and teacher’s assistant Janice (Smalls). The 51-year-old star released a photo of his beloved mother and praised her on her 80th birthday. In his own words:
“I only exist because of this beautiful, hardworking, loving, hilarious, ass-whooping, always telling me the truth, genuine, smart, fly absolutely amazing Black Goddess Queen!! Happy 80th Birthday to the best mother in the world! Love you forever and ever! ❤️”
Then the two-time MTV Video Music Award winner pointed out to his mother’s photo, in which she looks like in her 40s, and wrote:
“… and this is actually her at 80 … no filter … no edit 🖤!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY #MAMACOMBS”
Throughout the years, the rapper who is the father of 6 children, attracted the attention of the press with his crowded family. So much so that, in 2019, Diddy’s family appeared on the cover of ESSENCE magazine.
