Five-time Grammy Award-winning artist, Christina Aguilera turned 40 on December 18, and she seems like embracing her new age with a great cheer.
After uploading a short video, which shows her flawless figure in a black bodysuit, accompanied by Megan Thee Stallion‘s ‘Body,’ Aguilera took her social media account one more time on December 19 to celebrate her birthday.
The singer, who recently released ‘Reflection,’ shared a three-part statement through her social media channels to say how much she is grateful for becoming 40 and ready for the things coming with the new age. One of the world’s best-selling music artists began her message as follows:
“Dear 40, What a beautiful concept… To not only be ‘turning’ 40, but to be ARRIVING at 40! This ever-present social stigma exists around getting older, but I have ALWAYS embraced it! I’ve heard it said that some of your best life is lived in your 40’s. You stop giving a f*** about all the bullsh**… Clarity comes over you, and a new intention sets in with every move you make.”
Then the singer penned that she really believes “the best is yet to come” and she is truly ready for it.
In his message, full of hopes and good vibes, Aguilera also addressed her beloved ones, who have been supporting her for more than two decades, and thanked them by saying:
“To the rare and beautiful souls who have stood by me for over 20 years and counting, I am eternally grateful for you. I am blessed to have the most solid friends around me, a team I believe in that makes me feel supported and heard and of course, my family; my baby boy and girl, the most incredible children one could ever imagine! My heart is full.”
The mother of two – 12-year-old son Max and 6-year-old daughter Rain – concluded her message with:
“So, 40, let’s f**king do this. You have no idea what I have planned for you. I hope you’re ready.”
