While celebrating the 10th anniversary of Kanye West’s fifth studio album ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy‘ album, Kim Kardashian West revealed a secret regarding one of the album’s songs, ‘Lost in the World.’

On November 22, the media personality posted a variety of pictures, including a black and white photo of herself with her husband and a pair of snaps see a poem written on a birthday card. The poem consists of the following words which also appears on the song:

“You’re my devil, you’re my angel / You’re my Heaven, you’re my Hell / You’re my now, you’re my forever / You’re my freedom, you’re my jail / You’re my lies, you’re my truth / You’re my war, you’re my truce / You’re my questions, you’re my proof / You’re my stress and you’re my masseuse.”

In the caption section, the makeup mogul clarified the post; she first celebrated the 10 year anniversary of West’s album, and then revealed that the lyrics of the song totally inspired by the poem written by the rapper for his wife’s 30th birthday.

“He took the poem he wrote me and made it the song. I keep everything! 🎶”

The said song, featuring vocals by Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon was released on September 29, 2010, and became a new track entitled ‘Who Will Survive in America.’ It also received high praises from listeners and music critics, the lyrics of the song were described as “one of the most poetic of his career.”

That lovely post was marked as support for West after his failed presidential campaign. As widely known West only could get approximately 60,000 votes in 2020’s presidential election.
