Mega model Bella Hadid announced the other day a new charity project she involved in: Hadid and fashion Brand Chrome Hearts teamed up to support Feeding America, a nonprofit hunger-relief organization.
Through Instagram, Hadid posted a series of photos of herself wearing hand-dyed tees, designed by her. Along with the photos, she revealed that 100% of proceeds are going to the organization to help end hunger around the nation.
Hadid, who is familiar with collaborating with brands in order to help people in need especially in the pandemic, told of how the partnership came about with Chrome Hearts, through a message she shared in the caption section. She wrote that, almost 8 eight months ago, when the coronavirus pandemic just started, she was in panic and sadness for the entire world. Even she was always in a bad mood as long as knowing that children not eating properly as she does.
Because the model is not powerful enough to fill the stomachs of all the people, she decided to put her energy into somewhere to create a solution. And she did:
“With them in mind, I decided to sit every day for a few months to personally tie-die these shirts, just for you, in hopes that I could eventually sell them for @feedingamerica.”
Then the 24-year-old supermodel dropped hand-dyed a collection of Chrome Hearts x Bella Baby Tees and Classic Tees on November 14. The limited-edition, containing 49 unique pieces sold out just in one day on the Chrome Hearts’ website. Addressing that achievement, Hadid thanked The Stark family and Feeding America for their generous heart.
As fans might recall, back in July, the model teamed up with the same brand and auctioned several Chrome Hearts x Bella Hadid pieces she designed during the quarantine, in order to support non-profit organizations.
