Kim Kardashian West received a “special surprise from heaven” for her 40th birthday.
In celebration of Kardashian’s birthday, husband Kanye West gifted her a hologram of her late father, attorney Robert Kardashian.
Following posting the countless photos from the birthday celebration on a private island with her “closest inner circle,” Kardashian took to Instagram one more time and shared a video of the hologram with her 190 million followers. The reality star wrote a caption that reads alongside the video:
“For my birthday, Kanye got me the most thoughtful gift of a lifetime. A special surprise from heaven. A hologram of my dad. ✨🤍 It is so lifelike and we watched it over and over, filled with lots so tears and emotion.”
Kardashian thanked Kanye West, who had not attended the party hold on the private island, by saying:
“I can’t even describe what this meant to me and my sisters, my brother, my mom and closest friends to experience together. Thank you so much Kanye for this memory that will last a lifetime ✨”
Kim’s father, Robert Kardashian, best known for defending OJ Simpson in the football player’s murder trial, was diagnosed with a kind of cancer in July 2003. Almost two months later, on September 30, the attorney passed away, at the age of 59.
The hologram of the attorney began by wishing a happy birthday to Kim, and continued by directly addressing her:
“Look at you! You’re 40 and all grown up. You look beautiful just like when you were a little girl. I watch over you and your sisters and brother and the kids every day. Sometimes I drop hints that I’m around.”
It continues by saying that he was so proud of the woman Kim had become, and all that she had accomplished.
“All of your hard work, all of the businesses you have built are incredible. But most impressive is your commitment to become a lawyer and carry on my legacy.”
