The well-known media personality Kim Kardashian, teamed up with Paris Hilton to bring the 2000s back. The pair came together for promoting Kardashian’s SKIMS collection that includes reinvention of 20-years-ago trends.
Kardashian, who first gained media attention as a friend of Paris Hilton in the early 2000s, announced the new collection through an Instagram post that reads:
“A year in the making, @SKIMS Velour is my most anticipated launch yet! A reinvention of the iconic 2000s trend, this luxe collection will carry you through Fall – indoors and outside. Dropping on Wednesday, October 21 at 9AM PT / 12PM ET in 7 new styles, 4 colors, and sizes XXS – 4X exclusively at SKIMS.COM.”
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star released a series of photos of herself with Hilton wearing tracksuits from the collection, with iconic objects such as old school push-button mobile phones. Kardashian captioned one of these photos:
“Besties for life!!! Me and @parishilton”
As for Paris Hilton uploaded a video of herself talking about the collaboration with her old friend, and added a caption that reads:
“So much fun shooting this campaign for the new @SKIMS Velour Collection with @KimKardashian!✨👸🏻👸🏼📸✨ SKIMS is bringing back one of my favorite iconic 2000s trends & giving it a major upgrade. 🔥 Loves it! 😍”
