Ten-time MTV Europe Music Awards-winning singer Shawn Mendes announced through his verified Instagram account that he had a new Netflix documentary, titled ‘In Wonder’ in the works.
Mendes, who had released the latest album, ‘Wonder’ on December 4 along with the album’s lead single, shared the following message on Instagram in order to inform his 56 million fans about the great news:
“Been working on this documentary for so long & am so excited to finally share it with you all #InWonder Nov 23rd on @netflixfilm 🖤🖤🖤”
Then, the official Instagram account for Netflix, also posted the official poster of the documentary, which was filmed over the past few years, with the following note:
“#InWonder only on Netflix, November 23”
According to the publication, the documentary will include ample footage from Mendes’ self-titled 2019 world tour and gives details about the singer’s personal life and musical journey. ‘In Wonder’ also will serve as “a portrait of Mendes’ life, chronicling the past few years of his rise and journey.”
Besides the documentary, which will head to Netflix in November, was directed by music video director Grant Singer and executive produced by Mendes’ longtime manager Andrew Gertler, alongside Ben Winston, Saul Germaine and James Haygood produced.
