Seven-time Billboard Music Awards winner Cardi B, born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, announced that she would drop her first footwear collection through her collaboration with sports brand Reebok on her birthday, on November 13.
Cardi B, who recently filed for divorce from her 3 years of husband Offset, posted a photo of herself wearing “CARDI B CLUB C WOMEN’S SHOES,” and released the news adding the following message:
“I’m kicking off my birthday weekend by announcing I am officially dropping my first ever Reebok x Cardi Footwear Collection on 11/13!!
As my birthday gift to my loyal fans I’m dropping limited pairs TONIGHT at MIDNIGHT EST on Reebok.com. #ReebokxCardiB”
Reebok introduced the product that “symbolizes Cardi’s realness and openness” on its official website as follows:
“Cardi B always brings the heat. She brings it from the beats to the streets in these signature Club C shoes for women. They take design cues from high fashion, streetwear and Cardi’s personality to create a stand-out style. High shine patent leather and an exaggerated height represent her place in the industry.”
As might be remembered, Cardi B and Reebok first teamed up in November; the rapper partnered with the brand to promote Reebok’s Aztrek sneaker.
