Five-time American Music Awards winner, Camila Cabello shared a highly sweet video-post on Instagram in order to announce that the filming of the movie, ‘Cinderella’ came to an end successfully.
Cabello, who will be appeared as ‘Cinderella’ in the film adaptation of the fairy tale, celebrated her last day on set by thanking those who contributed to. Alongside the video which sees her with the set workers, she wrote a lengthy caption that reads:
“Last day of being a freakin bad*ss rebellious dreamer princess! Today was our last day wrapping @cinderellamovieofficial. I mean. I’m so grateful to have had this experience and so grateful to our crew and team for making it possible (and completely COVID safe!) during a pandemic.”
Then the singer & actor continued by saying that she could not wait for all of her fans & followers to see the movie that has so much love, joy, laughter, and magic. She also thanked the film’s writer and director Kay Cannon by calling her “our brilliant leader and director.”
“Thank you for your belief in me and for giving us this beautiful journey, on and off-screen! To @j_corden thank you also for your belief in me and giving me an experience of a lifetime, I mean.. it’s cinder freak in rella. To the cast, dancers, choreographers, music team, crew, I love you all so much! ❤️”
Cabello, who is also working on the music for the film, concluded her words as follows:
“I can’t wait for you guys to see, I always pictured you guys behind the camera and how I hoped this film would make you feel and it motivated me and inspired me every day ❤️”
The upcoming film, also starring Billy Porter, Idina Menzel, Nicholas Galitzine, Pierce Brosnan, and Minnie Driver alongside Cabello, was scheduled for release on February 5, 2021, by Sony Pictures.
