Known for her versatility in both music and entertainment, Lady Gaga during an interview on CBS Sunday Morning, explained how Ariana Grande changed her perspective on being friends with another female artist.
The first woman to win an Academy, Grammy, BAFTA, and Golden Globe Award in one year stated she had thought that having a celebrity friend was impossible to her until she met with the ‘Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored’ singer.
One of the world’s best-selling music artists, Gaga candidly said:
“I love that girl.”
The singer, born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta added:
“You know how hard it is to make a female friend in this business? In this business, having a female friend is like watching a pig fly.”
As known, the pair made their first collaboration through their song ‘Rain of Me’ and they received three awards for their duet for song of the year, best collaboration, and best cinematography.
As might remember, on June, Gaga, who described Grande as “soul sister” on MTV VMA ceremony, also expressed her love for her friend with an Instagram statement that reads:
“For going on a voyage with me that at some point we thought we’d never see. So many laughs, so many tears…for so many years. And then…friendship. I love you gurl.”
