The mega model Bella Hadid took to Instagram in order to urge her followers to honor the late jurist Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who spent her career as an advocate for gender equality and women’s rights, by signing a petition aiming that her seat would be preserved until 2021.
Sharing a photo of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Hadid wrote:
“💔… rest in power to the most high RBG💪🏼💔Please read this ❤️ rp… @barackobama … And join me in signing the ‘Do not fill Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s Supreme Court seat until after the 2021 inauguration’ petition. If this was her last wish, I only hope we can fulfill it for her. “
Then the well-known model shared the official description of the campaign named “Do not fill Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s Supreme Court seat until after the 2021 inauguration.”
“We must honor Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s legacy and hold every politician accountable to the most basic standards of fairness by demanding they not move any new nomination forward for the lifetime appointment to the highest court in the nation until every vote is counted and the inauguration is complete.”
Hadid, who encourages her fans and followers to vote at every turn, reminded that voting is the must to honor Ruth Bader Ginsburg, passing away on September 18, 2020, at 87, from complications of metastatic pancreatic cancer.
“In honor of RBG and our planet, we MUST ALL do our part and…VOTE. VOTE. VOTE. VOTE. ‼️‼️‼️‼️”
