One of the most famous pop stars in the world Madonna is creating her own biographical film.
The all-new project based on Madonna’s life was unveiled the other day; according to the statement released, Universal Studios would make a biographical film about Madonna, and the ‘Like A Virgin’ singer will direct, partly script, and produce the film herself.
The icon co-writes the screenplay with Academy Award winner Diablo Cody, who the Oscar for Best Screenplay for the 2007 film ‘Juno.’
Regarding the project that will be partly produced by three-time Academy Award nominee Amy Pascal, the great pioneer of 1980s pop music said in a statement:
“I want to convey the incredible journey that life has taken me on as an artist, a musician, a dancer – a human being, trying to make her way in this world. The focus of this film will always be music.”
The 62-year-old star added:
Music has kept me going and art has kept me alive. There are so many untold and inspiring stories and who better to tell it than me. It’s essential to share the roller coaster ride of my life with my voice and vision.”
As for Pascal, said that the movie would be absolute labor of love, and added that there wasn’t anything more thrilling than collaborating with her and Diablo on bringing her true-life story to the big screen.
The movie, centered five-decade career of Madonna, has no name yet.
