Pink: “Marriage Is Awful, Wonderful, Comfort And Rage”

Photo Credit: Carey Hart - Instagram Photos

The well-known singer & songwriter Pink, born Alecia Beth Moore, got candid about her marriage by posting a highly sincere picture of herself and husband Carey Hart that two are seen hugging. The 41-year-old singer wrote as a caption:

“He’s still my favorite sweet little dirtball. He and I have been at this a long time, and it is our relentless and stubborn idealism that keeps us together.”

Pink, who has recently revealed that she and Carey work through their differences in couples therapy and that the therapy ıs the only reason they’re still together, continued:

Marriage is awful, wonderful, comfort, and rage. It is boring, terrifying, and a total nail biter. It is loving another fallible creature while trying to love yourself. It is a lifetime of coming back to the table. People laugh at us because we’re either fighting or laughing. They roll their eyes when we talk about therapy. But I’ll tell you what. It’s worth it. All of it.”

Then the ‘Who Knew’ hitmaker stated that therapy was not for weak people, it was for broken people that desire to be whole. She added:

It’s for runaways that want a family. It’s a lesson on how to sit down and listen. How to love yourself so that the other person can, too. I love you babe. I’m grateful we made it to this photo @hartluck”

As might be known, the couple separated in 2003, after that, married on January 7, 2006, and separated again in 2008. However, in 2010, Pink declared that she and Hart were back together. And in 2011, they welcomed their first child, Willow Sage.

Following the post, the artist, who has announced that she and her entire family have tested positive for novel coronavirus in previous months, received highly positive feedback from notable names:

 “BEAUTIFUL!!!! ❤️” wrote, Justin Timberlake.

“Well said. ✨” added, Reese Witherspoon.

“I’m grateful for you two love bugs. You both share so much of your love, kindness, humor & inspiration. All the good feels. ❤️❤️” commented, Jeanette Jenkins.
